Arizona Youth Ballet – Costume Mistress
Sara Lamb loves being a member of the artistic staff of Arizona Youth Ballet. After attending Tutu School, she has hit the ground running creating various new costumes for the 2023/2024 season. Sara has been teaching ballet for 14 years. She was trained in classical ballet at Jeanne’s School of Dance, and later under Christina Hampton’s tutelage. She joined Arizona Youth Ballet in its first year and danced for an additional four years with the company. During her years with AZYB, she performed roles such as Dew Drop Fairy, Arabian, Spanish, and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. She also danced as a Big Swan in Swan Lake, Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle’s mother in Giselle. Sara earned her master’s degree in Mass Communication and her bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
