Arizona Youth Ballet

Arizona Youth Ballet provides young dancers performing opportunities to assist them in reaching their true artistic potential!

It is with deep regret that the Board of Arizona Youth Ballet has decided to close the 2019-2020 season.  This decision was made with the health and safety of our dancers, families and staff in mind.  Please keep in touch here and through social media.  We will keep the lines of communication open in these ways.  As always, we can also be reached at with any questions or concerns.

We appreciate all the hard work and dedication our dancers and staff have put into these ballets during class and rehearsal.  We appreciate the support our families have given the dancers, staff and the company.

AZYB will return when it is determined safe for our dancers, staff and families.

In the meantime, be safe and dance on!

We are a non profit 501(c)3 program that provides pre-professional performance opportunities through strong technical training and a nurturing environment for dancers of all ages. Arizona Youth Ballet fosters and encourages a bully-free environment and works with all dancers and families to maintain a positive learning and performing experience. Through dedicated, highly regarded faculty, outstanding supporters and amazing dancers, we strive to be the premier youth dance company in the Southwest.

Come be a part of the Arizona Youth Ballet family!

Arizona Youth Ballet will have residence at the MCC Performing Arts Center (PAC) for its Fall and Spring shows through 2021.

The training that I received from Christina Hampton is not only vital for a healthy and injury-preventive career, but also for a successful and intelligent one. Her technical base has provided a solid foundation that I’m able to utilize in all forms of dance and has helped separate and highlight my strengths as a dancer and an artist. Her knowledge of proper alignment, correct muscle development, and artistic coordination is imperative for a professional career and has proved to be invaluable and relevant for years to come. The performing and rehearsing opportunities that she provides, through Arizona Youth Ballet, have taught me many skills and tools necessary to survive in this profession. I wouldn’t be where I am today or have the opportunities of tomorrow, without all of the beautiful work that has been generously shared and carefully taught from Christina Hampton.
