The majority of the female dancers will have their hair in a ballet bun.  The bun will be at an angle from the top of the ear back.  The dancer must have a hair colored hair net over the bun to control wispies.  Use hairspray or hair gel to slick the hair down and control wispies.  If you are not sure of how to put your/your dancer’s hair in the correct bun, please see Ms. Christina or a Board Member.

Make-up is stage appropriate. It will always be heavier than standard but that is so it can be seen by the entire audience and the dancers do not appear washed out under the lights.  Lipstick should be red for the older dancers and more pink for the younger dancers, with a hint of red.

**We will hold a master class closer to performance time to go over this.  At that time, there will be more detail and pictures of the makeup and hair.

Jewelry is only to be worn if role appropriate and approved by Ms. Christina.

Baby Mice

Baby Mice wear small ears over their bun.  They will also have a nose and whiskers drawn on using a make-up pencil.  This will be done in the green room by the chaperones.
