Congratulations to Victoria (“Tori”) Bennett – she has been accepted to the Dance Program at Rutger University in New Jersey! Victoria was a wonderful part of the AzYB family for several years and we are excited to see what she accomplishes in New Jersey!
Auditions for the 2017 Nutcracker are coming! They will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Impact Dance at 3725 E Southern Ave, Mesa (SE corner of Val Vista and Southern). Times are:
Ages 6-9: 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm
Ages 10-13: 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Boys: 2:15 pm – 2:45 pm
Ages 13+ (Beg/Int Ballet Level): 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Int/Adv Dancers w/pointe: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Adults 18+: 5:45 pm – 6:15 pm
Registration begins 30 minutes before posted audition time. There is a $20 per dancer audition fee.

Congratulations to Payton Kline on her acceptance of a contract for the 2017-2018 season with Minnesota Ballet! Payton recently danced the role of Swanhilda in Arizona Youth Ballet’s Spring production of Coppelia (pictured below). She was beautiful and we understand completely why Minnesota Ballet would offer her a contract. We know that she will shine in Minnesota and are excited to see what the future holds for Payton!

Congratulations to Kelsie Van Horn! She will be attending University of Utah and dancing
in their dance program this coming school year! Kelsie has been with Arizona Youth Ballet from the first year and we have loved seeing her become such a wonderful young lady and beautiful dancer! We know there are many great things in store for her and she will do great at the University of Utah!
